The River Runner is a documentary about the life and career of a kayaker named Scott Lindgren. He was the first person to complete all four rivers that flow from Mount Kailash. It focuses less on the physical barriers and challenges of being a professional kayaker and more on the mental aspects of it. In my opinion, Scott teaches an extremely valuable life lesson. When he was younger, he was the leader of his group of kayakers. He would always tell his groupmates that they need to be on their A-game mentally during their runs. If they weren't, they had to either man up or go home. It took him almost 20 years to realize that it's better to open up with your emotion than to absorb them. I really like these types of documentaries. It's interesting to go into the mind of someone who does an extreme sport for a living. They are crazy, but express some admirable qualities. They also never fail to offer some stunning views, and River Runner is no exception. If you like documentaries like Free Solo, then this is the documentary for you. It is beautifully made and features some amazing shots of the waves. I really enjoyed it and it will definitely be a movie I will remember for a while. 10/10 - Highly Recomend
